The module aims to:
• Increase student’s levels of English in terms of grammar and vocabulary as well as skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking
• Develop an understanding of formal English / academic English in both written and oral work
• Encourage students to present arguments/points to persuade based upon evidence
• Increase student’s confidence in using English in an academic context
